X Air RV Wake

The new Xair is one of the latest in new hull design from Skicraft.  This boat was designed from the keel up to develop a world class wake.  To develop such a boat, Skicraft enlisted the assistance of wakeboarding specialist and guru Travis Osborne to advise them on what was required for such a boat.  Incorporating solid fibreglass ballast tanks, all hidden under the floor that can be filled or emptied both while stationary or moving by the flick of a switch, make it a very simple system to use.  This system coupled with the Wake Control System allows the driver to not only customize the size of the wake but also the shape - from long, rampy transitions, to steep and lippy - to accommodate all riders from beginner through to pro.  It is available in mid mount or a V drive and also uses the latest PCM power plants and gearboxes.

Excel Series 2

This is Skicraft's latest model, released for the 2006 Melbourne Boat Show.

In recent years wakeboarding has grown to become one of the most popular forms of water sport.  Boats are now designed and manufactured specifically to cater for the wakeboarder.  In the realms of wakeboarding, big is considered good - the bigger and heavier the boat, the bigger the wake.  But one drawback of the bigger and heavier the boat is the bigger and heavier the price tag. Not everyone wants to folk out 100K for a large wake boat. Whereas with water skiing, the more traditional form of water sport, the opposite is more often considered true - the less wake the better, and hence the cheaper price.  It would be nice to be able to have a traditional water ski boat that you could, with just the flick of a switch or the turn of a handle, produce the wake boarder's wake, but without the size and price tag of a traditional wake boat; hence, catering for both sports in the one boat.
Enter the Excel - Series II (Formerly The X2).  The newest of Skicraft's designs.  The Excel - Series II is designed for just that in mind.  Using Skicraft's wake control technology, the driver is able to adjust the size of the wake to suit the needs of the waterskier or wakeboarder.  While the wake level of the Excel - Series II may not quite reach that of Skicraft's Xair, suited for the the more serious wakeboarder, the Excel - Series II, at much less the cost, is the perfect boat for the entry level wakeboarder or just as a family waterski and wakeboard boat.  Check out the Excel - Series II and see for yourself.
